Solved sound not working, everyday in the am, I have to reboot for sound to work

707 Mb that's not big considering how important it is, as long as you have a big enough SSD

After installing and running nvidia settings, I changed resolution to 1920x1080, then had to resize desktop a little smaller, so it is really now

1080i 1824x1026, that fills the entire TV screen. Any reason not to do that?

yeah, big enough, it is WD blue 500gb ssd. It really makes booting up quick.

No idea I am afraid, Maybe it is treated as a second monitor. I always project using WIFI or Bluetooth

Just now, after sleeping overnight, sound is working.
So I think it just needed the latest Nvidia driver installed,

Make sure your scaling is correct.

I'd just take it off sleep etc, Shut it down when you're done and reboot from cold daily. It literally takes like 30 seconds to desktop, lets say its a slow pc, a minute or so.
Amount of issues i see being caused by sleep/hibernate is nuts, people spend more time trying to fix the issues it causes than if they just turned it off in the first place they'd have saved the time XD
Again im sure it isnt always the case ofc, But there are a lot.

Check if there are any Audio services that are disabled at boot / startup.
Sometimes also switching between internal screen on a laptop and HDMI output to external screen with HDMI audio you might need to enable the HDMI audio -- depends on all sorts of things though.
