This may be a non-issue but I'm trying to determine whether I'm missing the Standard NVME driver, or whether it was removed during an update over the last several months.
As mentioned during other questions yesterday, my machine froze at the BIOS screen yesterday. I was able to restore by removing/replacing the CMOS battery and restoring BIOS settings from my memory. My machine, and Windows, seem to be operating normally. However, I did notice that the only storage controllers listed are Intel Chipset SATA/PCIE RST and Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller (this is an older machine by the way).
I have two WD SN770 drives installed. Both are visible in Windows and benchmarked at expected speeds. However, I recall that each used to have a "Standard NVME" driver installed at one point...I can't remember when I last checked. That is no longer listed nor showing up in "hidden devices." Did a Windows update come along that negated them, or am I missing them and should reinstall?
