Start Menu Search not working right

• The Taskbar will sometimes flicker when switching input methods.
• We’re working on the fix for an issue causing tooltips to appear in an unexpected location after hovering over the Taskbar corner.

• After clicking the Search icon on the Taskbar, the Search panel may not open. If this occurs, restart the “Windows Explorer” process, and open the search panel again.
• Search panel might appear as black and not display any content below the search box.

Think this has been an issue with several versions since win 11 launched to insiders.
It hasnt been fixed in the most recent dev version albeit ive never had an issue due to not ever really needing to use it

@imanlien2020 Agree that it is not working properly.... but, do you have a Windows key on your keyboard? I just press that key and start typing what I want to search. This is must faster than using a mouse or keypad to select the Start Menu button, click on Search bar and then start typing.

Fixes​

• Fixed an issue that was causing Search to appear black and not display any content below the search box.

• In some cases, you might be unable to enter text when using Search from Start or the Taskbar. If you experience the issue, press WIN + R on the keyboard to launch the Run dialog box, then close it.

Ok so I left click on the start menu button. It shows my pinned apps right...
Then of course the search bar is set way at the top of the window, arrrgh..lol..Anyway,
I left click on the search box and the start window closes and my cursor is showing its buffering(a circle spinning on my cursor)
well loading or trying to load. Then nothing window just closes. I can reopen the start window and get the same result every time.
Also before it started doing this since Oct 5th. My install went great had some tweaking to do but that's normal.
Its been working like a champ except for that since day 1 when I would click on the start button the first window
showed with the pinned apps, but when I would click on the search box another window immediately replaced it.
The search box was in the same place but I could actually type in the search box and it worked.
Anyone have any ideas, same issue or any advice on fixing this?

Edit: Ok I just clicked on the search icon(magnifying glass) instead of the start menu icon and i stille get the same result..looks like the search system is corrupt..
how can I fix that? anyone?
