This tutorial will show you how to refresh Copilot to start a new conversation in Windows 11, Windows 10, Microsoft Edge, and on the web.

Copilot is designed to enhance your productivity by leveraging the power of AI. To access the full capabilities of Copilot, you are required to sign into the Copilot app using your Microsoft account or Microsoft Entra Account (work or school account).
You can refresh Copilot on demand to reload Copilot and start over with a new conversation.

1 Open the Copilot app on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
2 While in quick view or full view, perform an action below you want: (see screenshots below)
- Click/tap on the New conversation button at the top left corner.
- Click/tap on the More options (+) button on the bottom toolbar, and click/tap on New conversation.
1 Open Microsoft Edge.
2 Click/tap on the Copilot
icon on the toolbar. (see screenshot below)2 In the Copilot pane, perform an action below you want: (see screenshot below)
- Click/tap on the Start new chat button on the left side.
- Click/tap on the Refresh button at the top.
1 Open Copilot on the Web in any browser.
2 Perform an action below you want: (see screenshots below)
- Click/tap on the Start new chat button at the top left corner.
- Click/tap on the Open (+) button on the bottom toolbar, and click/tap on New.
