No, it downloads fine but W11 doesn't let it run.

I’m confused. The lock screen photo is the one you see on startup & reboot before the sign in screen. If you have set this to anything other than Spotlight then you’ll see that photo only & not any ‘Like what you see’.
If this doesn’t refer to the lock screen then where are you wishing to see the ‘Like’ message?

Ran the bat file, still the same on reboot.

I just changed to Spotlight to see and I have the same as you, I never use it as I have it set to pictures

As stated in the start, why am I not getting scenic pics, before login screen after i liked one.......

Have you rebooted since running the bat file? There should be scenic ones rather than that ugly blue thing

Yes I have rebooted twice, not once....reg is messed too.

So would be better to restore last full backup?

I suppose if it bothers you that much, as long as you're not going to missing too much else file wise

One more now MS Edge no longer pops up as before, since Brave is my default browser.
