Win 11
When I rip a CD the playback has static. When I rip the same CD on a different machine it's fine.
I have installed a new CD/DVD drive and that makes no difference. I only get static on things that I rip on my main machine. OS is up to date. All drivers are up to date. I'm using EAC to rip and both Winamp and VLC for playback with same results. Get same results when using the Winamp and VLC programs to rip as well. Any help in helping me locate the root of the problem would be appreciated.

Windows Build/Version
Windows 11, version 24H2

On my Win11 computers I use Windows Media Player Legacy to rip CDs, don't get any static. Sometimes I get ambient noise if my headset is plugged in to my desktop, has a microphone in the cord.

What if you simply playback that CD on that main machine? Do you hear any noise or other artifacts?
