Still on 24H2. Why I am so far behind?

windows 11 Po 64bit Ver 26H2 (OS Build 26300.9711
I never declined updates, and I have been doing the updates faithfully, yet I am on 24H2 while others are 25H2 or better.
Is it because I upgraded an "incompatible" Win 10 to Win 11, and therefore I am denied of required Windows Updates?

You are not denied but
- You do normally have to use the Repair install [aka InPlace upgrade] procedure for version updates [WU will not do them for you],
Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade - ElevenForumTutorials
- in this particular case, you can use the 26H2 enablement package to do this version update. It is much simpler than the Repair install procedure.

Thank you. But that does not expalin (to my satisfation) that I am stuck at 24H2 while apparently almost all other members are at least at 25H2 or higher.

As an FYI, folks who are running on unsupported hardware do not get feature updates automatically, which explains why...

It's a manual process.

Thank you for clarifying that fact. Until today, I did not know that. I thought once "I'm in", that's it.
I should have at least visited the 11forums to keep myself up to date, in stead of taking a "recluse" for over 10 years.

Use CPU-Z to get your System Specs...

CPU-Z (free), will show you make/model for everything except: drives, case and power supply. You'll need to add make/model for monitor, keyboard and mouse as well. That info should be easy to find. Portable version: https://download.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_2.17-en.zip
