So I use a terminal program called SecureCRT (From VanDyke), and I have no problems with it on one of my machines running Windows 11 Pro.
Just recently, I got a Dell Inspiron 7440 (i7 Core, 16 Gig RAM and 1TB Drive) and installed the software on it.
The issue I am seeing is I have something that sends an Audio Bell, (And yes, the terminal program is set to do audio bell). On my desktop, a rapid 3 bell signal, I get 3 bells.
However, on the laptop, that same 3 bells would only result in a slight delay, then a single bell ringing out versus 3 in rapid succestion.
I've tried all the traditional sound troubleshooting and there is no audio lag when playing videos or what not. But I did notice when I play the default beep in the Sounds control panel, there is a slight delay before it plays out, about a 2 second delay, where as on the desktop has no problem what so ever.
Any suggestions as to what might be causing the delay?
