Strange Left-Click mouse behavior.

Running Win 11 Pro, latest update.
Just recently, mouse left-click button has started acting like a double-click. Left clicking on an icon or folder (for example, to highlight the folder name for editing) immediately opens it (exactly the same as the double-click button). I'm currently using a Redragon gaming mouse, with software that allows me to re-program each button, and I've verified that the left button is programmed for a single-click. This is new behavior for the mouse, which I have been using for many months without a problem.
As an additional check, I substituted a Logitech mouse, and it exhibits the same behavior.
Both mice work as they should on my Win 7 computer, which indicates to me that something in Win 11 has changed to cause this to happen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Folder options > General tab > set to Double-click to open an item (single click to select)

Do as @Dacron says. Make sure native windows is optioned correctly, then perform a clean boot to eliminate software conflict causing the issue. If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. You have to use process of elimination to find which one, but my first suspicion would be the Reddragon software being the culprit.. glasskuter, I'm sure glad I didn't have to go through the time-consuming elimination process. I would have left the Redragon software for last, because everything was working fine with Redragon for many months, and I only noticed this problem shortly after the latest Windows update.
