Strange system issues

For about the last month I have been having issues with my desktop. I will be simply browsing with Firefox and I will suddenly go to black with no response. I frequently have to turn off the power to reboot when this happens but occasionally it will reboot on its own back to the "Enter PIN" screen where it tells me it cannot access my PIN number and I have to restart anyway. It seems to affect apps that involve a lot of data transfer in particular my Everquest account seems to lock up when I first try to use it in the mornings. Also, since April 1st I have been having issues with a video streaming account (Crunchyroll) where the app believes that I am trying to view a second video and won't let me watch anything. Occasionally a video will open but it will have numerous glitches while being viewed. I've scanned for Malware using Bitdefender and found nothing. The system lock up problem only seems to happen in the morning when I first start using the computer. The streaming video issue is all the time. Be warned that I am a total failure when it comes to understanding how modern computer systems work so I'll need to have most "obvious" things explained to me in excruciating detail.

Please try the following:
(1) Download, extract (rightclick and "extract all") and run the ".exe file" of the latest version of "DISM-gui" by prowo (v. 1.3.1.02) from deskmodder: https://www.deskmodder.de/blog/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/dism-gui-13102.zip (It's just a gui for well known cmd prompts that are meant to repair system files)
(2) run "SFC Scan" first and write down what it says when finished
(3) Then run "Restore" and write down what it says (see screenshot).

Then please report back !

Edit: sorry: after clicking on "restore" a new window will open; then you need to click on "online"

Thank you for the response! The results were:
"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

The restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully."

There was no change in the streaming issue.

Hi,
frankly, I don't know hat to do next. I understand everythig was ok, one month ok. What did you one month ago ?
Have you tried to reinstall Firefox or an older version of it.
It could also be a RAM issue (not enough memory or a defect): TechPowerUp
Or a disk issue? Open cmd prompt as an administrator and run "chkdsk /f" . When asked say yes ("y") and restart your computer. The programm will run at start.
I hope it is not something with the hardware (disk or memory).

Thanks for trying! I've discovered the BSOD board so I'm going to try using the recommended procedures for collecting data and wait for another crash to occur. I'm going to try reloading Firefox to see if that will fix the video streaming issue.

Just a follow up, reloading Firefox appears to have fixed the video streaming issue. At least I started one video and it ran. Hopefully that doesn't come back. The video issue started on April 1st so I wonder if that was some form of Malware attack.

Just a followup. It was a general system failure. My computer is simply failing. The estimated cost of repairs exceeded the cost of a new system so this machine is on it's way to recycle. Thanks for trying!
