Solved Streaming video to low performance computer

Hello,
I have configured Plex to share some videos so I can play them from another computer either on the same network or when out of home. My mobile phone or my tablet struggle to play any video of 720p or higher. This is because I believe the Plex Server provides the video and audio data without any decompression leaving this job to the client. Is there any way to configure Plex to process the video locally or even resize it before streaming to my client (phone or tablet)? I want to let the processing to the Server running on my good performance main computer (see 2nd system specs) and stream the output either at the original size or resized. Is this possible?

I think I made it. I set the video quality to 480p so my clients can play it without lags. Next question is how can I enable either embedded subtitles in the MKV file or external SRT file? Thanks.

I don't know how but the embedded subtitles were enabled when watching from my tablet (Windows 10 32-bit, Microsoft Edge). I didn't change anything at the settings, Local Assets check box was checked by default. Yesterday they would not enable at my mobile (Android 8.0, Google Chrome). I will investigate it. The trick with the 480p quality (0.7 Mbps) worked like a charm! I could watch a 1080p video resized at 480p at perfect quality, full screen without any stutter at my humble HP Stream 7 tablet (Intel Atom 3537G 1GHz, 1GB RAM, 32GB MMC, Windows 10 32-bit v22H2). Without any resizing I could barely play a standard definition or higher video! For comparison, in order to watch the episodes of my favourite TV series I have set quality to minimum 432p.
