I don't know how or why but the text suggestions is gone on the keyboard. I'm not using any physical keyboard.
By the way is the default keyboard, the SwiftKey?

go to Settings and search for "typing". in the results, turn on "show text suggestions as i type"

the default should be "Default"

if text suggestions is already on, it may just be a hiccup. turn it off, reboot and turn it back on.

It's working fine, thank you so much
I'll have to find a way ( some script ) to disable everything with Security, Malware, Windows Defender, etc
On my PC, I used some anti-virus, about 16 - 17 years ago and never have issues
Acronis True Image for backup the C partition, etc
I'm trying to disable as much as possible on the Surface Pro 7 plus, for the battery. I'm using it 95 % for listening music

I did modify something with Winaero Tweaker, now, when I press on the desktop ( happens randomly, not always) it remains like in the screenshot
Not sure what exactly it is.I have to restart the tablet, or else, it stays there.
Any ideas?

I just reverted back everything I changed with Winaero Tweaker
It's seems to be okay
Off topic question : would this SSD work, if I want to replace the default one?

It appears again, I didn't know what to do, so I installed everything from scratch.
Downloaded the recovery image, followed the instructions, everything went fine, Windows brand new.
First thing weird, I mentioned, after the new install, was the Power Options. It remained exactly as it was
" When I press the power button - Turn off the display
Which isn't, as default. And some other minor settings I changed inside the Power Options / Change advanced power settings / Turn off hard disk after - and there I had it" 130 " before the new installation, and it's exactly the same, 130.
And the issue from my post # 28 ( attached screenshot) is back
I'm confused now.
When I did the reinstall, I went to
Setting - System - Recovery - Reset this PC
There, I pressed " Reset PC "
After that, two options are available

Keep my files
Removes apps and settings, but keeps your personal files

Remove everything
Removes all your personal files, apps, and settings

The second one, I selected.

And with the USB already prepared, I installed the Windows
Didn't copy / transfered anything, during or after the Windows installation
As clean as possible.
Am I doing something wrong???

no that works. only way to wipe it any more than that would be to boot from usb and delete all partitions and then reimage - don't do that unless you're 100% familiar with doing so.

I tried but can't recovery it anymore
"There was a problem recovering your PC"
Tried to fix the mbr, as well, no luck.

To wipe the partition, from BIOS.
Now, when I try to recover it with the same USB, at about 40 %
" There was a problem recovering your PC"

I'll try again, format the USB stick ( FAT32 ) create recovery drive
What would have happent if I wanted to replace the default 256 GB SSD with a larger one ?
Same problems ?

Okay, I was able to install Windows 10
Now, everything is new, all the settings, etc
Is it possible to disable this effect?
