My wife just bought a new Win 11 laptop and I want to install SyncToy on it.

I know that SyncToy requires .NET to function, but I don't know what version I should put on there.

Anyone have any ideas?

Windows 11 already comes with .NET preinstalled. Just install SyncToy, it should work no problem out of the box.

Oh, sorry, it requires .NET 2.0.

Go to Turn Windows Features On or Off
Add .NET framework 3.5 (includes v2.0 also)

After a reboot, SyncToy should install and run, no problem

Just installed on Windows 11 after adding .NET3.5, just to verify that I don't speak nuts . Works like a champ!

I grabbed the Zip with both 32 and 64 bit installers from here (as it is not officially supported and downloadable from MS):
Major Geeks - Microsoft SyncToy 2.1 (x86/x64)
