Windows 11
Hi

I may have missed something, but I've never seen this before. I have an SSD for storage of 465GB and Windows 11 on an M.2 Kingston 1TB. When you look at the properties of the D-disk and how much space is used, it says 406GB. But if you select everything on the disk, file by file, it says about 275GB. If you select information under properties and look at "Storage on other devices" there are system files and reserved space of 135GB and installed apps of 128GB.

What's going on? Why does it take up space on drive D even though it's not the system disk?

Was the smaller drive replaced by the larger or did the smaller come from a different computer? Possible to have files on the smaller drive if not cleaned after installing a new one. It can also happen if a second drive is not first disconnected before installing.
