Solved System keeps freezing

I have windows 11 pro.
When I turn on the system, it sounds like something is constantly accessing the hard drive and it keeps clicking.
The system freezes up for about 10 minutes before I can do anything, then it locks up again.
I am enclosing a screen shot of the task manager.

I would click on StartUp Apps, in the Task Manager. post a pic of that please ..... I guess you did a SFC /Scannow ?? yes/no ? for starters,

As stated, go one step further and do a Clean Boot.
If that works you can keep it this way, or your can add One or More Services and or Startup items at a time until the behavior returns.
Then you will know the culprit.

And also as stated, start a command prompt as Admin. Here, copy and paste or type
DISM /Online /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RestoreHealth and press Enter. When that completes, type
SFC /scannow. and press Enter. Until you see the message
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations
This replaces any missing or corrupted system files.

Also check in the Device Manager to see if there are any devices that need drivers. (ie) have a yellow mark next to them.

Look in Start Ups and toggle off all apps running in the background. They should run only when launched.

Uh, with a system like yours, isn't your system drive an NVME? NVMEs make no sound. No solid state drive does.Do you have a spinner as a secondary drive?
If not, the sound is coming from another component.

I tried the:
DISM /Online /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RestoreHealth and the SFC /scannow. but the system still fangs
My main system drive is a NVMe.
I also have a secondary drive that is not a NVME drive is only used for storage.

Download DiskGenius and or Crystal Disk Info both in my signature.
View the SMART information on both dives. If either is any less than GOOD it needs to be replaced.
Also, did you try the Clean Boot as linked in Post #3?

I was just going to respond the same thing. HDD failure.

RICK98 - AFTER i POSTED THE PROBLEM MY HARD DRIVE KEPT GOINGINTO FIXING "D" DRIVE.
I GUESS THAT MY "D" DRIVE IS NO GOOD EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT USING IT AND IT HAS TO BE REPLACED.
