Taskbar Settings?

Is there a way to display all open apps on BOTH taskbars?

The problem I have is that I use one monitor for displaying stuff that won't allow access to the taskbar. I can only access the taskbar on the second monitor. So the fact that some apps are not displayed on the second taskbar is a real nuisance. Perhaps there is a Windows setting or an app that will allow this?

You can go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar Behaviours and turn on Show my taskbar on all displays and then set When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on to All taskbars.

Oddly, I have those set, but they aren't doing that. What happens is that it works when I re-select All Taskbars but shortly afterwards it stops working again (not sure when). It still displays "All Taskbars" but doesn't work.

I have no idea why it would work one minute and not the next, that is very strange.

Are you able to swap the monitors around, physically?

Are you able to make the second monitor the main display?

One thing I have discovered, is that it fails to work after a power down/up.
I am just checking to see what happens if I change monitors.

Yeah, that seems to be it. If I do a power reset then it keeps the configuration but forgets to apply it!
I need to re-select "All Taskbars" to get it working again.

Do you mean that you reboot or do you mean that you pull the power plug out?

OK kewl, you had me worried for a minute there ... lol

I don't know why that setting is not being applied for you. I don't have any issues with it at all and all apps displayed on both taskbars.

Then again, my two monitors are the same make/model and maybe that is the difference?

Do you have any third party programs in use that modify the taskbar? IE - classic shell, explorer patcher, startallback, etc
