When it comes to remote access TV was always the gold standard, but so was its price. The only way I was able to use it from home was I kind of cheated and used my company's corporate license until I retired. I've got to admit that Anydesk is catching up with TV. With the paid version, for $15 a month I can access anyone for as long as it takes. I can remote restart and the session automatically reconnects. It has surely saved mileage on my car and has been great through the pandemic. My customers like it more than I do since for little things I'll connect and not charge them anything.
Many of them have given me unattended access so I can do my thing after they've gone to bed. If I could figure out a way to remotely install windows I would never have to change out of my pajamas.

You nailed the reason. TeamViewer is first and foremost a business program. Making it free for personal use is a generous option for those who need to help friends and family out. Ten to 15 times a day isn't "personal" use as far as TeamViewer is concerned.

I use Team Viewer for helping my students out, which isn't that often. I may use it three or four times a month.

I have a friend at ElevenForum.com who manages to reinstall Windows remotely with TeamViewer. I don't know how she does it, but she does.

@flashh4 Please tell me how you do it. I want to see if I can do the same with Anydesk. Anydesk doesn't seem to work in preboot at all.

I think with an autounattend.xml you could do it all remotely.

@glasskuter the last time i did it was 4 months ago, and i used Quick Assist ! I used this process below and of course i did it myself not letting the computer owner do anything except to reboot when it was installed. And i also told them they would have to call me or notify me when through ! I hope it works for you like it did for me !
