Toolbars for Windows 11?

Windows 11
In an older post I mentioned that I missed the Toolbar function from Windows 10. "Try3" and others said I could use ExplorerPatcher or StartAllBack to bring back toolbars. Is there a more transparent more direct way to enable "toolbars" perhaps by using a reg edit?

I don't like the idea of running software I don't know much about on my Windows 11 PC. More chance for bug exploits and resource using and then I have to keep it updated. More unknown unofficial people making the software, etc. Also can Explorer Patcher even be installed without first installing github? If I have to use ExplorerPatcher, can someone tell me more about the nature of the software? How reputable is it?

Not that anybody has discovered and posted about.
There was a simple Registry tweak with Windows 11 Version 21H2 but the next Version broke it.

You do not install GitHub.
GitHub is a website not an application.

I gave you a link to the main ElevenForum thread about ExplorerPatcher.

I run Windows but I don't know any of its developers.
I run VideoReDo but I don't know any of its developers.
But I agree that you need to consider any software's source before running it.

All the best,
Denis

Great, this is everything I need to know. I'll pass on Toolbars for now, though I miss them so!

FYI:

Here's the link you gave me on a previous post regarding ExplorerPacther

I believe the actual download location is here:

When I said "github" I meant "Git". I guess you don't need "Git" to do downloads on "Github". Even with the above link, you can download it in "zip" form.

I find this download link more convenient.
Download the latest version of ExplorerPatcher
You don't need to mess about finding the new version number or anything. This link is always to the latest one.
Latest version, Properties, Details.png

I generally download a new Version if somebody in that thread says it is worth doing.
It only takes a moment to check its version so I can compare it to my current one.
There's an update facility within the utility as well.
