In an older post I mentioned that I missed the Toolbar function from Windows 10. "Try3" and others said I could use ExplorerPatcher or StartAllBack to bring back toolbars. Is there a more transparent more direct way to enable "toolbars" perhaps by using a reg edit?
I don't like the idea of running software I don't know much about on my Windows 11 PC. More chance for bug exploits and resource using and then I have to keep it updated. More unknown unofficial people making the software, etc. Also can Explorer Patcher even be installed without first installing github? If I have to use ExplorerPatcher, can someone tell me more about the nature of the software? How reputable is it?
