System Turn On or Off Ease Cursor Movement between Displays in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off Ease cursor movement between displays for your account in Windows 11.

When you have multiple displays and try to move your cursor or windows between monitors, they would normally get stuck if the display borders don't align at the crossing point.

Starting with Windows 11 build 22557, it is now easier to move your cursor and windows between monitors, by letting your cursor and windows jump over areas where they would previously get stuck.

I tried this. On my system, there is no check box titled "Ease cursor movement between displays". So I made the registry change, adding a new key.

My second monitor is smaller than the primary. If the mouse is at the top of the larger it gets caught in the "corner" where the second doesn't match up. I thought this setting or reg change would help this. If this makes a difference I don't see it.

Any suggestions??

thx,

BTW my system shows the following, maybe not the build mentioned??

Version 21H2

Any idea how/when I might get this? I'm not on the developer track, but on the "low risk stay behind the bleeding edge" track.....

I was somewhat confused, as a product that I was trying out (and won't keep) had the same capabilities. Apparently implemented in some other way.

thx....

The only other way is to wait until this build is available as a public release. :(
