I asked about the ONT because y'all said to access the router's settings in order to be able to access 1fichier so I thought accessing ONT's settings might fix the problem. But how can I know the ONT's maker and model? And what does your lag problem have to do with this subject?

If I was asking like a network expert I wouldn't make questions regarding concepts, don't you think? I wouldn't even be here and I'd fix the problem myself. Again, you're not forced to waste time with me if you don't want to. I didn't know one could only insult others by calling names, even more since you previously actually insulted my english which in turn led me to call you the mentioned names you are complaining about. Unlike what you state, other users really tried to help me and answered me and you even had a discussion with one of them. If you can understand me, then why do you complain? I also didn't state I was an expert in english language. Yes, it really isn't easy to understand what you state.

What if I don't understand what's stated on Google, have you thought? Like you state, you have no obligation to help me, so why do it and waste sleep time, then? At the limit I can simply use a VPN like the one the other user mentioned so because of that I wouldn't lose much.

1fichier sent me a short and stupid answer like I already told and I'm not being answered by Meo's support. Anyway, I tried accessing the site using neighbour's PCs via ethernet and Wi-Fi and their phones via Wi-Fi and I couldn't as well and I activated bridge mode on my router and directly connected my PC to the router via ethernet and I still can't access it. Are you happy now?

Well, take a photo of the ONT and it might help us figure out who made it. As for the lag problem, if you really must know without having to be the worm in your intestine as the chinese saying goes. If you were someone who actually has common sense, you would already know to keep the amount of messages to a minimum so you don't cause too much of a hassle for the other person. Remember helping you is a obligation and not a right. So are you going to tell me when you ask for help, your intention is to make their life a living hell just to help you or are you hoping they will help you without too much hassle on them. This is common sense and considered rude and lack of respect if you don't even understand such basic ethics as a human being. It is almost similar to when you ask for help from a friend and they said they have not eat yet, are you going to atleast tell them to eat first or are you going to care less if they ate or not and only fix your problem. Now you know what I am talking about because to put it simply, in a way, you are being extremely selfish meaning you only think about yourself and inconsiderate to others who are trying to help you since you never even looked at the circumstances for the other person(s) helping you including their time which you have demonstrated from your responses are worthless to you and when the other person has to actually tell you, it implies the level of intelligence you actually have or atleast gives others that impression.

I never insulted your english and you just took it the wrong way as it's called constructive criticism and unless you saw it or heard it, you will not even know the tone of voice it is said. So are you trying to tell me now that every translator out there is insulting the person they are helping to translate when they are trying to help the person understand what is being said? All I said was you are not proficient in the english language to understand what I am saying and valid which you confirmed more than once in your responses even before the other person was involved, since when was that an insult? name calling or like what the other person said is considered online harassment as it is basically verbal bullying which includes name calling, insults, teasing, intimidation, homophobic or racist remarks, or verbal abuse. You are just overly sensitive for yourself and insensitive and inconsiderate when it comes to others which is proven from your actions and responses.

Besides, Am I helping you or are you helping me which is the main point. It's almost you are living in someone else's house, are you going to insult person in any shape or form? Try it and see what happens. Same thing applies here. Even if I insult you mistakenly and for that, I apologize but remember you still gain from the help. Go visit a Toastmasters club in your area if you want to know how to communicate and you will understand what real criticism is. Well, the problem is other people did not have to keep replying to you, one reply after another for the last 3 days and when someone is hot and basically going through hell trying to help you, you will understand why. Go and count all the responses in the entire thread and take a look at how many came from me as a % and how many actually came from the each of the others who you are claiming to help. I mean I don't know what to tell you if you can't understand what I or google says, other than maybe find someone proficient in both english and portuguese that can translate it into something at a level of communications you can understand? Remember we are helping based on our capacity, we are not going to act as a translator to satisfy your needs, I mean you can always hire a computer/networking expert locally and hope they can solve the problem. And if google does not work for you, use a search engine with contents that you understand. I already told you I am not the best at explaining things because first you have to talking at the same level of knowledge to understand things fluently. Otherwise, it will be like a chicken talking to a duck as there will be a communications or language barrier. Even my friends who are from Brazil as I mentioned, they improve their english by talking to people and learning as time goes because they have a motive to learn and when they don't understand something, they do somehow learn on their own to improve their english skills both written and verbally. Yes, there are always people who has poorer skills than one's own safe as there are always higher mountains. No different than Bill Gates was the richest in the world for a long time, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk comes out of nowhere and surpasses him.

When you complain to Meo and to the government regulatory authorities, you will want to present your case with everything you have tried to prove it is not you the user and your computer(s) being the problem. If you didn't try, you do not have a valid complaint as you are lacking data to prove the problem is Meo and their liability and not on your side being your liability for lack of better term. I mean all you had to say was, let me try it later or something, plain and simple instead of the answer earlier where you assumed it's the same thing as a VPN, a VPN is a Virtual Private Network not a real network.

When you did the bridge mode with the PC, were you able to connect to other internet sites? Don' t take it the wrong way but sometimes people forget to do simple things first just like I completely forgot to tell you to connect a computer directly to the router with the router in bridge mode a few days ago. As for Meo, remember you are their customer and they have a legal obligation to help with the problem. In the U.S., if the ISP does not help, we can complain to the Federal Communications Commission which is a government entity to complain and the FCC will serve the complaint on them to respond and fix the issue or else they will get fined providing you have a valid complaint. So not sure how it works in Portugal, as communications/telecom carriers are usually regulated by the government which in your case is known as The National Authority for Communications (ANACOM).

Again, I only wanted to access the ONT's settings because I was told to access the router's in this forum and since I have an ONT, I thought accessing it (if possible) might fix the problem and if it (literally) hurts you so much trying to help me, you can stop since you're not forced to help me (as if it was my fault you're keyboard is very hot. Why don't you fix that issue instead of always reminding how hot your keyboard is when I told many times you're not forced to help me?) and that way you wouldn't waste time typing those testaments and you wouldn't waste mine reading them. You're complaining about me but don't you think those testaments actually serve to confuse me even more? The other user was way more precise (and thanks to it I was able to access 1fichier by using a mentioned program) so I don't care if you "help"/answer me more than the other users and for straight days or if your "helping" percentage is higher than theirs.

Then I also think calling you a grammar nazi is also constructive criticism and I wasn't actually offending you.

What about the discussion you had with the other user? Which one was right? I guess you, of course. Again, since when did I state I was able to access 1fichier on my PC via Wi-Fi without a VPN or without refreshing the page many times?

No need to keep repeating the ONT over because you already said why earlier. As for the keyboard, how am I supposed to fix it? That is the same reason you are having keyboard lags in your other post. Notebooks as you know are not desktops so they do not have efficient cooling so they run hotter than normal. If you ever looked, you would know that the temperature on your CPU is very hot if you ever looked at the temperatures compared to a desktop but that is for another discussion and should be in the other post.

As for the other user, I said let's agree to disagree which means each person is right since it never came to mutual agreement and it's a pointless neverending discussion anyways since remember it takes atleast "two" persons to be in a argument and the other person was the one who started with the insults by saying the other person is confused and basically not forgiving at all which the other user has been known for even many years ago.

And as for the program the other user provided unless you are talking about something before post #95, I already knew about that 3 days ago when I responded when you first mentioned the router make and model but #1, only OEM firmwares are available which means you need a router that is not customized by the ISP which in your case is a customized router. If it wasn't, you would already have full access the the router and able to flash the router without even needing to ask for help.
Hacking Technicolor Gateways - Firmware Repository if you really want to know but what can you really do with it as you have a router only with partial access. As I have looked and don't see where the other person sent you any program other than telling you to upgrade your firmware if available other than the manual for the router which you would have found on your own if you typed in the name of the router itself.

See my last comment, if Meo doesn't within a reasonable amount of time and document it and send a official complaint to the regulatory agency to serve on Meo as the government has more power than you do and you will get a official response from Meo Corporate Executive offices.

and don't respond if you do not want further responses from me. If you do, I guarantee you will get a response as all you are doing is irritating the other person even more with such childish level of comments and answers and trying to create a fire from smaller flames and the end result is it will end up in a flame war and I will warn you now, it will result in insults and personal attacks which you will regret. If it's about the problem that is different but asking or talking about anything personal is basically considered personal attacks which will not be tolerated in any shape or form.

And it already mentions after refreshing many times, you can access 1fichier. I never said you can access 1fichier without refreshing which is why I said you keep taking something I say and then literally come out with your own meaning which is not the same as what I said. I said we already know what you said to confirm and troubleshoot from post #1.

and this was exactly what I said:
"Your first message in this thread already tells you it's ISP related which includes their network and/or their provided equipment because you already tried from different computers with the same problem and what works is the same computer using a VPN or using another ISP in this case being the mobile phone as a hotspot which while it's still Meo, that is Meo's Mobile Internet and technically two different networks."

which means you cannot reach 1fichier from the WiFi from Meo from computer or mobile connected to WiFi.
It works when you do either of the following:
1) Use VPN with Meo
2) Refresh the browser a few times

so apparently, you are seeing statetments from me that I never wrote.

I only repeat it because you don't stop talking about it instead of answering how could I fix this issue if I had access to its setting on a browser like a do with the router's. No, it doesn't have to do because I only have this problem when inserting the user password and with fast startup enabled. My keyboard isn't even burning.

Like you started offending me with my english? Yes, like I stated, you're always right, of course. But I don't care about getting a second router but with accessing this site and with the help of the program by the mentioned user, I did it.

Yes, that's why a lot of people complained about Meo's (and its competitors) censorship for years and nothing was done.

What about it? I could access it with a VPN without refreshing the page a lot of times. Did I state I wanted to access it that way or without a VPN but after refreshing the page a lot of times?

And remember we don't get what we want in life and if using Meo as a ISP is your choice, then learn to live with it if you are unwilling to make changes so your problem is fixed. Your first post indicated you had the problem for many years so obviously it's not important enough for you to fix it fast.

I mean if you don't have another way of working, you can only use what works. The question is do you want to access 1fichier or not, plain and simple. If you do, you have to use what works but if you don't, there is nothing anyone here to do to all of the sudden unblock or change Meo's network for 1fichier to work without using the VPN, tor, Wifi via Mobile as we would have to hack Meo's network on their side in order to even accomplish that as I and others have been trying to tell you it is 1) Not a Windows problem 2) not something you can solve on anything on your side of the ONT which includes the router so what else do you expect can fix your problem because all ideas have been tried and you already verified with others the problem already exists so think of this as a political issue since it is politics either at Meo or the government that is outside your control. The problem is you would not accept that it is a problem you cannot fix unless either Meo fix's it or you change ISPs assuming other Portugal ISP's do not have the problem. It's no different than connecting to some websites in China which will not work unless one connects to a VPN located in China. Do we like the solution? Maybe. Do we have a choice? No. Do we have alternatives? No. Atleast you can change ISPs if that is a option. It's the same thing in your situation. If you want 1fichier to work without problems, you first need to try the ISP you are considering if it has a problem or not and by ISP, I mean someone else and not Meo.

Well, whether I answer you or not is my choice. Maybe I want to really irritate you for free entertainment and see how much you can really tolerate before you will stop responding. It can be a million reasons... I said I don't care personally meaning it doesn't physically hurt me or make my body itch but where did I say I will not respond or stop responding. Well, Wi-Fi via mobile means your computer connecting using Wi-Fi to the mobile phone as a hotspot and the mobile phone connects to the mobile network. See, that was plain english and you don't even understand it.

and what exactly do you mean "or the pro"? what exactly is "the pro" as pro is another way to say professional unless you meant "program" as in tor.org and like I told you, the program is also a VPN but unlike your own paid VPN, it has it's own security risks similar to free VPNs as it is nothing more than the Firefox browser using the tor vpn network but should be okay as long as you are careful. That's why the bottom line is you get what you pay for. Pay for a quality VPN and you will get better results when using Meo, otherwise there is not much additional input I will add because you already tried everything within your limits.

No, it's not, hence why I refer to that as mobile network (using Wi-Fi to connect to a hotspot, since connecting to a hotspot does involve Wi-Fi, like you state) and not as Wi-Fi like you because the latter when said on an isolated context (without telling more details like using it to connect to a hotspot afterwards) refers to connect to a wireless network provided by an ISP router (the people I know also refer to these terms this way). And regardless, that's not about not understanding english but at most about not understandin a concept, which is a different thing.

and what exactly do you mean "or the pro"? what exactly is "the pro" unless you meant program as in tor.org and like I told you, the program is also a VPN but unlike your own paid VPN, it has it's own security risks similar to free VPNs as it is nothing more than the Firefox browser using the tor vpn network but should be okay as long as you are careful. That's why the bottom line is you get what you pay for. Pay for a quality VPN and you will get better results when using Meo, otherwise there is not much additional input I will add because you already tried everything within your limits.

And what did you intend with your previous reply's third paragraph, quote me? What kind of english is that for such a "grammar police" such as yourself? The program the other user mentioned is enough.

I am a science professional and not a liberal arts professional so it's one thing when the grammar is wrong but another thing in your case when you use words or sentences that are incomplete where it will not have the same meaning as the more you are proving that your english is poor without adding words of insult which is a three word term starting with the letter B and ending with the letter a. And until I actually use the insulting three words, I sill have not actually insulted you yet.

Before, it was stated as a benefit of doubt which means I could be wrong or right but the more you keep having to talk about the same thing over and over like a broken recording and continuing with the insults and attacks, it already proves and confirms who is the one who is continuing to try to start a flame war. Well, how do you tell someone you don't understand what they are saying without telling it's hard to understand it. Pretend to understand everything. I mean look at this whole thread, as I told you already, a majority of your messages in this thread is responding to me since the beginning. yes, others have occasionally helped but remember there is one difference, you are not replying with so many messages to them and I am talking about even prior to message #95 so it would not matter to them because your messages in the thread which you are sending are directed to me which is the main point. Your problem is that when you write, it's broken english making it hard for the reader and as I already told you in so many words, I am extremely pissed off now at you and when someone is pissed off, you think they will spend the time to check if the english is correct or not, the whole point is to flame you and post fast and when you type fast, are you going to slowly look at punctuation to make sure everything is correct. Have you tried the OperaGX browser. It has a free VPN incorporated
in the browser. It might help with your situation. The link below
will show the Potable version. No install.
Opera GX Portable, Portable Edition can run from a cloud folder, external drive,
or local folder without installing into Windows.
Try it if you haven't yet. It might help.

@Flashorn - I am sure that will work because as long as he/she bypasses using direct IP, and uses a VPN similar to tor, I am highly certain that works. My apologies to you and others for the long thread but it's hard talking to someone who is stubborn that asks for help and then continues the attacks because of his extremely poor almost non-existent english which he/she still will not admit. The person helping can have toilet level english or grammar for that matter which is not the point as the point is contributing to help that matters.
