When trying to access 1fichier on Windows 10 and Windows 11, it always states it's not possible and mentions ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.

I already deleted the hosts file, reset DNS settings and tried different browsers and I'm having this issue for some years only on this website.

I stop having this issue after refreshing 1fichier many times in a row but I don't want to do this any longer. Also, sometimes, even after successfully accessing 1fichier, it looks odd, so I have to refresh it again sometimes until it looks normal or I won't be able to download. I also have this issue with other PCs on the same network and on my phone when using Wi-Fi (but not mobile data).

EDIT: It looks like I can sometimes access 1fichier right away (so, without refreshing it). Odd.

I'm presuming you are using Chrome browser? Anyhow, try these solutions.

Hi,
Have you tried to reach out to 1fichier.com?
It sounds more like a server-side or browser issue rather than an OS issue.

What do you mean, contact them?

But I can access it if using mobile data on the phone.

There are many files that I need to download that are only available there.

It looks like when using Chrome with Wi-Fi on the phone it has this problem for a brief time until it automatically shows the website in a odd way (I have to refresh it again for it to look normal), so it's kind of an improvement (if using Chrome and Edge on the PCs and Kiwi Browser on the phone with Wi-Fi, I often have to refresh the page many times until it looks odd and then I have to refresh it again for it to look ok). My phone's Chrome doesn't have extensions installed (unlike Kiwi Browser) so could they be the culprit? The thing is, I tried Edge and Chrome with no extensions enabled on the PC and I still had this problem.

Chrome & Edge are both Chromium based browsers, so don't expect much of a difference between the two.
Try the site with Mozilla Firefox on your PC to see if it renders better or in Edge using IE11 compatibility mode.
I don't expect a miracle here as I said the problem seems to be server-side.

I alredy tried and had the same issue. Why don't I have it when using my phone's mobile network and the symptoms are different when using my phone's Chrome?

I had no idea you experienced different results by switching providers.
Sorry but I can't help you. Try the suggestion above and change DNS.

Good luck.

It looks like this only happens with this browser so it might be a bug or caused by an extension I installed.

EDIT: After all, it seems it also happens on Windows Chrome. It might be a uBlock Origin filter list that must be enabled in both Windows Chrome and Android Kiwi Browser.

The I don't care about cookies Kiwi Browser extension stopped working.

EDIT: I restarted the phone, Android stated apps were being optimized and now I'm not having "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED" when accessing many sites. Weird.

EDIT 2: Some tabs are disappearing on Kiwi Browser. This app is full of bugs since it also randomly closes itself.

It looks like users from other european countries are also unable to access 1fichier.com because it's apparently blocked.

Well, it could be blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider). That would explain why you still can access it via your mobile network.

I can access it if I use a VPN on Windows via Wi-Fi and ethernet, and on Android Chrome, I have less problems with it than on Android Kiwi Browser (even if using Wi-Fi) and on Windows Chrome and Edge via Wi-Fi and Ethernet with no VPN. Doesn't IP block affect the mobile network? I thought it affected ethernet, Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
