OS
Win10
I ran the PC health check and the results say "this pc must support secure boot". Ive went into the bios and when I change the boot to EUFI and restart I am brought back to the Bios and only when reverting back to CSM /Legacy will the machine reboot. Unsure what I am missing here but any advice would be super.

Specs below:
MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC (MS-7B85) (AM4)
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
Primary HD: NDVI CT1000P5SSD8
Secondary: KINGSTON SA400S37960G

I do notice that when i flip to EUFI the boot options below become generic and do not show the possibility of any of my HD's.

Thanks in advance

Does your hard drive or SSD contain a FAT32 partition with a BCD capable of booting in UEFI mode? I suspect your hard drive or SSD is MBR partitioned with an NTFS partition marked as active that the computer is booting from in CSM mode. Most computers will only boot in UEFI mode from a FAT32 partition - and the system partition must contain the EFI files required to boot in UEFI from.

Thanks for the swift reply NavyLCDR, it appears that my OS was installed as MBR not GPT. Found a quick guide to convert to GPT without issue (thank jebus). Process below for anyone else experiencing the same issue:

Run Command Prompt as Admin
Type the following int the CMD prompt and hit enter

mbr2gpt.exe /convert /allowfullOS

Takes around 2 mins to complete. But advise backing up any work you're on with at present just in case shits creek.

I then hopped back into the BIOS and voila when I selected EUFI the top boot drive was my existing NVMI. Runing the health check has confirmed ready for windows 11.

Again thanks for getting back with an answer!

You are lucky. mbr2gpt is very finicky! I would say the majority of people who try it fail on the first attempt!

Christ, glad I only read that now. Still, plenty of time for it to implode. Thanks again Navy!
