Is it Safe to run this light bar in Steady Mode, and not breathing or flashing mode? i typically only run it a few hours a night, and rest of the time its off, except when i need more lighting on desk

I would think that would be in the light bar instructions.
Your question is a bit hard to answer without knowing the make/model of the light bar.

I have an RGB keyboard that I've been running in the steady mode for over ten years... 24/7.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Yeah thats an issue as don't know what model it is that came with Desk lol, i'll have to look up or find the desk documentation and go from there it looks like.

I do tend to worry a whole lot on things that i probably shouldn't even worry on

If you are concerned about radiation, then you shouldn't be. A smartphone has more electromagnetic radiation and if that is safe, so is your lamp.

We left our CRT monitors on in the 90's which had A LOT higher radiation than today's LED monitors and we had no issues. I am not going to start worrying now with almost zero radiation.

Well if it would burn out if left on in steady mode for extended time, typically i only turn it on most of the time for an hour or two when it gets evening hours.

I know i worry way too much, just my nature i guess

More to the point, you have some DVD-R discs being lit up by your LED light.
Not good as the active dye layer within those discs will be affected over time. They need better storage conditions like in a dark draw/box.

LEDs do age - e.g. the " white" back light LEDs of LCD screens and LED bulbs change their spectrum over the years. However as it is just a light that does not matter.

I'd keep them out of direct sunlight.

I'm less sure that most other light sources would matter much. But I really don't know.

I have seen life expectancies for optical disks given online, but the details about light exposure are lacking. Here's one:

I'm pretty sure that commercial movie disks (DVD or BluRay) last longer than 5-10 years. If not, there'd already be many disappointed movie collectors.

Yes i do make sure direct sunlight is not shining on anything in room if i can help it. The discs should be in safer spots now.

I bought those when i thought about using External DVD Drive more when i had Nero Burning Rom installed, then i ended up not really using it more lol, when i set this All AMD Desktop didn't bother reinstalling Nero Burning Rom Platinum 2024 lol. So Discs mostly sitting in case ever needed

There are worse, like stacking old floppy disks (magnetic) on a loudspeaker (large magnet) and then worry why they don't work anymore.
