It runs as a widget within the Xbox Game Bar (activated with Windows key + G) and allows players to browse the web, access game guides, chat with friends, and play media while keeping the game visible in the background. It is game-aware, meaning it can recognize the game you’re playing and suggest relevant tips, walkthroughs, or guides.

Edge for Game Bar will work with any PC game, ensuring your in-game browser is always just a click away. Edge for Game Bar makes it easy to find help by allowing you to quickly fill in the name of the game you’re playing with Ctrl+G or by right-clicking and selecting Paste game title, and for enhanced games you’ll see tips and guides for your game on new tabs. Despite uninstalling Edge Game Assist either through Game Bar or through the Control Panel, after a few days it reinstalls, causing problems that can be seen in the event viewer. Is there any way to prevent it from automatically reinstalling?
