Just noticed this in Devices and Printers.

I haven't a clue what this is or why it's there.

Anyone have any ideas?

What kind of keyboard do you have? If it's wired, unplug it. Does that unknown device go away?
What other external peripherals do you have plugged in? Any external hubs?

It's probably just a usb controller chip. If you grab the VEN ID you can tell the device manufacturer.

It is actually a USB port on the motherboard that shows up in either Bluetooth or the printers section due a known bug on Gigabyte motherboards. It is nothing to worry about, but if you haven't already updated your BIOS to the latest version F18b from June 10, 2025 you should do that ASAP, as it fixes multiple critical security vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-7026, CVE-2025-7027, and CVE-2025-7029). https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B560-HD3-rev-1x/support

I updated the BIOS to F18b and my whole world turned upside down.
Onboard graphics disappeared, as did the option to enable or disable them.
I had to remove my PCI GPU to get the onboard graphics back.
I was using both because I was running three monitors.
When I eventually booted Windows I received a message that my PIN was no longer valid.
Then when I got in I found that the monitor numbering was also skewed.

On top of all that, the pesky ITE devices is still there.

Looks like I have an interesting weekend ahead.

Re-check all your BIOS settings, and make sure that CSM is disabled. You may also need to update the Intel Management Engine (ME) Firmware. It's under Driver > Chipset (on the same download page where you got the BIOS from.) Another thing worth giving a shot might be a clean install of the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).

Also note, with some motherboards it can happen that you only need to go into the BIOS settings, then choose Save & Exit without actually changing any settings. Doing this could potentially update some entries that exist within the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) flash memory, or non-volatile memory (NVM). (This piece of memory is also commonly referred to as "SPI NVM".) One of the most common example scenarios when you might need to perform this step is after you change out your RAM. However, sometimes, after a BIOS upgrade you might need to restore the BIOS settings back to factory default, then go into the BIOS settings again and redo all the adjustments (tedious, but sometimes necessary to get everything working normally again).

On my motherboard I disabled port 10 in BIOS (MSI Mystic Light).

Managed to get things sorted this morning.
Just need to update my DisplayFusion Triggers to match changed monitor numbers.
