Solved Unwanted change in Copilot

I just tried Copilot again. (Windows 11 Pro, 26100.1882.) To be clear, I refer to the Windows app, not the feature in the Edge browser.

It seems I'm no longer permitted to clear past entries. The conversation window now appears to be an endless scroll.

WTF?

I suppose I'm not overly concerned about Microsoft retaining all of my interactions with Copilot, but I'd like to clear the conversation window regularly.

To reply to myself, I went with the simple solution for now.

I uninstalled the Copilot app.

I presume that the version accessed from Edge will meet my AI needs at the moment. It at least has a "new chat" button.

What on Earth is MS thinking?
