I have recently had major crashes on both my laptop and desktop Windows 11 installations. (I also had a similar issue on my old Windows 10 laptop). All of the issues 'appear' to come after an update has been installed. Is anyone else having such problems and is it known if Microsoft have issued defective updates?

Some times the updates are incompatible with a given system or they just do not install properly. You can try uninstalling the recent updates and reinstall. If you know the KB numbers you can download them manually from Microsoft Update Catalog and install them. Alternatively, you can block them and wait for newer updates that fix the issue and make them obsolete. To block them use Microsoft Update Show/Hide Tool or Windows Automatic Updates Manager (aka WAU manager) to search for updates. Then check the box to hide (block) them. Of course for this to work they must not have been installed yet. The same way you can block unwanted drivers updates so you can keep using your older working drivers.

    Legacy MBR installation, no TPM, no Secure Boot, no WDDM 2.0 graphics drivers, no SSE4.2, cannot get more unsupported ;) This is only my test laptop. I had installed Windows 11 here before upgrading my main PC. For my main PC I use everyday see my 2nd system specs.
