Upgrading W10 to W11 accounts Problem

Sorry, Thought I had said that I'm currently back in Windows 10 after using a Reflect X partition image.
Windows 10 is working perfectly.
The screen grabs were from yesterday after upgrading to W11 25H2.

So have you decided to stay on Windows 10 for a year or longer then? :-) I thought you were still having wifi and firewall issues on Windows 10 as well?

No, that was always only after upgrading to W11.
I enrolled with MS for the year's W10 security patches, but they're still trying to get me to upgrade

Set your target release version to 'Windows 10, 22H2' and MS will stop pestering you to upgrade to 11.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

If you wanted to test out Windows 11 you could maybe try doing a clean install, try it out for a while and then you could restore your windows 10 image again if you wanted :-) It would see whether or not the same issues occur on that machine with a clean install as opposed to an upgrade - ie whether it's something about the machine or software/driver related.

A clean install is quite quick to do, but if keeping it there are then a lot of settings to turn off/change and all programs to reinstall of course. If that did work you could maybe stay on Windows 10 for longer and be prepared to do a clean install in future at some point.
