Years ago I used to be able to change the icons shown with URLs on the Favorites bar and in the Bookmarks list but it escapes me now. I am more curious than OCD about it but the Windows 11 Forum icon in the Address bar shows differently from the Bookmarked icon [Firefox]. Example of the two black boxes:
