Solved Using a shortcut to run a Task Schedule task

Hi All,
I want to use the Task scheduler to get around having to always select yes to bypass the User Account Control.
I created the task, and checked that it worked by running it from within the scheduler with the run button, that works fine.
When i then create a shortcut for it using - C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /run /tn "Name of my Program" for the link to it, but it just flickers very quickly on the screen then nothing.

I suggest you check that you have applied the same method as
Create Elevated Shortcut without UAC prompt - ElevenForumTutorials
and, if necessary, post in the tutorial thread to ask for help.
Check, in particular, that you have set the task's General tab, Security option to Run only when user is logged on - [Step 3]

Hi. Just to check, where you have "Name of my Program" you actually have the "created task schedule name"
So if you named the task “project_UAC” the shortcut would be C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /run /tn "project_UAC"

I used this for a while, because I have a few programs I have setup like you.
Just haven’t had a chance to set it up since clean install

Also my virus checking throws a wobbly if i ty and go to - Create Elevated Shortcut without UAC prompt - ElevenForumTutorials
So i won't be doing that.
Still not working...

Just tried Skip UAC Prompt v1.2
Absolutely perfect
All problems gone now

There is nothing wrong with that tutorial link or with that tutorial. I suggest you need to check your "virus checking".
