Hello nice people !
It started with the printer vanishing from the printer folder but still correctly listed in the device manager. I tried disabling and enabling.... nothing
I uninstalled and reinstalled with the correct driver (for WorkCentre 6015B)

Now it’s again in the printer folder, but no more in the device manager. There it’s 6015N (though 6015B is listed in the print queue)
Could not print test page, can’t print anything anymore...
Earlier today it worked fine.... and no more....
What can I do ?

I follow a slightly different approach to remove ghost printers. I first make sure I uninstall all relevant software, in your case any Xerox application, from Settings, Apps, Installed Apps. Then I open Control Panel and expand the Printers group. I make sure I uninstall the printer from there, if listed. If the printer is not present and you have no other printer, there will not be a Printers group. Finally I expand the Print Queues and uninstall all printer instances if present. Remove only instances of Xerox, don't touch the other print queues! I restart the computer, then I make sure I first install the official printer driver, in your case the official Xerox driver, and don't connect the printer unless prompted to do so. This should work and make the printer work properly again.

Maybe it works for Windows 11 Pro or higher versions. Do you have home? Follow my method above.
I have Pro 25H2 - I'm trying your system (with fingers crossed !) Restarting now...

Probably only available in Windows 11 Pro and higher versions, not in Home. Do you have Windows 11 Home?
