I have a windows 11 running in Vmware and I use this image just to test changing settings or installing new software. Most of the time after any testing I go back to original snapshot. I have allocated a small amount of my SSD and due to storage limitation and also unnecessary bandwidth usage I don't want to get any windows update. I would like to know if there is a way I can totally disable windows update ? @the same time I absolutely want my windows defender to be up to date. So if possible manually check and update it. I hope I am not asking for the impossible!
