Luckily for me, i previously coded a Python GUI app for Linux, that creates W11 installation USB, bootable in UEFI mode/Secure Boot, given previously downloaded W11 iso.

As I don't like the idea of downloading 3rd party apps, to create OS installation USBs, especially apps that download other components, as part of their operation. :sick:

You can download from MS the Win 11 25h2 install iso file, split install.wim using Dism:
Dism /Split-Image /ImageFile:install.wim /SWMFile:install.swm /FileSize:3600
It will create two install.swm to replace install.wim on the Sources folder
Format the USB (8 G min) drive as Fat32 and then copy all files and folders to the USB drive.

With the exception of downloading the iso file, this is in effect what my Pytthon app does, on Linux, albeit with progress meters, and notification window of current activity.

I also use few techniques to speed up the process, which creates USB, much faster than MCT or Rufus.
