Never seen this happen before. When I started my laptop today it had already downloaded an update and was requesting to "Restart". So I hit "Restart", the computer proceeded to install the update, then failed to restart. Said something went wrong with the restart. It suggested I try restarting again which still failed. There was no hint as to what went wrong. I'm on a 2nd computer right now, the affected computer is totally unable to start.
The update involved was just last night or this morning, is it possible the update did the damage? Has anyone else had this problem from this update?
I couldn't do anything with it at all so I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. What the heck happened?
