PCs with Windows 11 pre-installed will be available later this year.

The Windows 11 upgrade rollout plan is still being finalized but is scheduled to begin late in 2021 and continue into 2022. Specific timing will vary by device.

If you’d like to see if your current PC meets the minimum requirements, download and run the PC Health Check app.

It’s free to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. But only Windows 10 PCs that are running the most current version of Windows 10 and meet the minimum hardware specifications will be able to upgrade. You can check to see if you have the latest updates for Windows 10 in Settings/Windows Update. The free upgrade offer does not have a specific end date for eligible systems. However, Microsoft reserves the right to eventually end support for the free offer. This end date will be no sooner than one year from general availability.

  • 1Ghz 64-bit dual-core processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB storage
  • 9-inch display (1366x768 resolution)
  • UEFI, Secure Boot & TPM 2.0 compatible
  • DirectX 12 compatible graphics / WWDM 2.x

Same here.. I checked every requirement and I meet all of them. I wonder if it's due to the motherboard brand? I have an Asus and could it be that?

Perhaps they are saving all the bandwidth for streaming 🤐

Make sure its not set to discrete TPM. I have an ASUS x570. And it was set, which failed the check. Changed it. and I passed

I am wondering about this too. I have a HP laptop. It might also just be that the application is in beta mode.

I have 12 GB of RAM, I have 2.6~ GHz Intel i7-6500 processor, it has 2 CORES too. Windows is 64 bit.

I have Direct 12. The BIOS mode is UEFI and it has TPM 2.0.

Yes, I have enough space for the update.

How annoying. . .I hope it's just because it's in beta but if not that's really disheartening

I got it to install and if it was a TPM issue I couldn't have installed it. There would have been a message that would have stopped me. So.. it's weird and I'll chalk it up to a new software test.

I hope so. From what I read for HP laptop you can only activate TPM or disable it. There's nothing about 'discrete' which is what Asus laptops has. Yes, I am able to configure Bitlocker for my laptop.

Yup, it is not very intuitive considering the number of things that need compliance - it can at least say what's failing the test.
