Windows 11
Hi All,

I recently wrote a website for my own learning. It's coming along well, however I added a page to view my usb webcam from within my site. Everything loads except the camera itself. The camera works and I can load it if I log into the machine itself. I included my code which doesn't contain any sensitive data. Hopefully someone has thoughts on what I'm missing. I have looked at several different videos and followed along. All seem to point to the same code. Again I'm still new with all this. Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,

Probably Windows detect it is the internet and have denied access to the webcam. You should see the privacy settings in your browser and maybe Windows. I don't know how to guide you, haven't done it before. Apart from your HTML code, you can also stream the webcam with OBS Studio and Jellyfin. Maybe you also need to configure port forwarding on your router as well.
