Is there a way to block attempted downloads from a particualar site.

What is the site, if you can post it.
And what browser are you using?

Most browsers have a Download section in the browser... Settings, where you can select what the browser should do with things trying to download.

If everything on that site tries to download something... I'd find a different site!
