What are good PDF editors, besides Adobe Acrobat Pro?

Wow , so many updates ...........wonder if this software is stable enough !

I haven't found the Okular nightly builds to be glitchy...



... same with Sumatra nightly builds...



They're usable.

They both support numerous file types.

I am basically a Linux (Ubuntu) user, and have PC s set as dual boot with Win for clients who want my reports in pure Adobe PDF and pure PowerPoint, as well as scientific instrument signals that get processed by a Win-based program. Everything else runs Linux, and I use various versions of PDF Studio Pro to edit PDF's. Most of the time it is to take sections from PDF documents and add to my documents.

Has anyone tried Master PDF Editor? It looks pretty good.
It also has a perpetual license at a reasonable price.
