i just stopped with the free half baked software and bought an older version of M.S. Word Pro 2019. (New) For a few bucks online. No more with ads and other nonsense. I don't need the latest versions, this does it all.

I use PDF Candy Desk top. It cost me Ninety Nine bucks. It was a one time charge and it was mine. I think that was a lot of money but I got tired of connecting to the web to edit a pdf. The other choices I saw had annual charges to use it.

If you use PDF format to save Web pages, there is a more humane way.
Use the SingleFile browser extension.
The finished file can be easily edited if necessary (for example, notepad++).
HTML5 is not difficult.

PDFgear. Its free and has all the PDF editing tools you could want. Doesn't lock you into the Adobe subscription model. Recommended.

My PDF needs are simple compared to some of you. I've used Edge for the past four years and never needed anything more than what Edge can do. For viewing, annotating, or filling forms, Edge is enough.
