New picture. What does it look like? This cable is going to be most likely useless so I will throw it out. Is this HDMI to HDMI? If so, I will toss it out.

Okay so that is 100% then right? Is there a reason why you thought it was displayport earlier?

You do notice it has the letters HDMI on both ends right? The HDMI letters is much more clearer on one than the other but it appears to show that.

Earlier images were unclear and deceptive, without revealing details of the end-on pin configuration. Perspective of images taken on hand-held devices can be misleading, and the shape/proportion of the connector could easily have been mis-interpreted as a display port adapter (as was done by several contributors)

Never gonna give/get this guarantee without the apparatus in hand, physically.

If you're so uncertain, take it to your local computer shop.

Anyhow, for such a trivial item in such poor condition, not sure whether this is worthy of much more discussion ...
