If I was going to use a password book, I wouldn't be leaving the label on the front of it like this. I'd probably put a padlock on it too.

Why not look at the poll! Pick one of the more popular ones. LastPass is going out of favour because the company has suffered some serious data breaches. No passwords were compromised but the hackers gained a lot of info about users, such as emails and websites visited.

Can you wirelessly sync with this or do you need to use the cloud for syncing? I prefer my vaults on my PC, but wireless sync is imperative. I couldn’t find that info on the site.

It does say offline first which implies online is an option.

How about Human Brain as an option. I rarely have that many accounts that I need to have a password manager -- and if I have to use a site that I haven't used for a while just use the forgotten password thing - use something like Firefox to randomly generate a password - do your business with the web site - and then 6 weeks later if using the same site just do again the forgot my password bit.

And if you really must have a password manager just write them down into a notebook (old fashioned variety with paper and pen) and store securely -- away from the computer. Not on the Internet or computer so Amost "Un-Hackable".

However I doubt if anybody under about 23 these days has ever actually used or seen "paper notebooks" !!!.

The only problem is... Who's brain can store them all? Especially as we get older.

Human brain can be a password manager why not -- it's also hardware. Just runs on biological fuel rather than electricity and rf transmission and has a far more complex OS driving it.

Yes, offline is good, but some only sync if you use cloud. With 1Passowrd4 you can sync devices wirelessly with your PC vault. But I need to ditch 1Password.

I'm not sure how reliable the human brain is.
At least my brain is starting to fail me when it comes to things like this.

I left Lastpass and am very happy with RoboForm. Synching works well via the web.

Think I'll try Dashlane and BitWarden. Hoping they both use finger print reader, as it gets annoying typing password to login all the time.

Does any of these allow for Folders/Groups like Sticky Password does, see picture.

UPDATE - Tested, but not for me, I purchased NordPass instead.

For what it's worth, I have been using Roboform for years now. It syncs across all of my devices, automatically backs up my information, and the price is very reasonable. I would not be without it.

I can't speak about the merits of other password programs since I have never used them.

I have over 250 entries in my password manager at present. Everything has a unique password and all are complex, no way I could remember them all. Most have 12-20 characters and look something like this. (l^M0$hZD5dZzdUmE399).

While that may seem like a lot of passwords, I think it's reasonable for a lot of people. I have a family and I have stuff for all of them. Medical site logins, insurance logins, forum logins, streaming tv service logins, video game logins, restaurant online ordering logins, email logins, Microsoft accounts. banking logins, retirement logins, etc. Practically anything I do these days has an online customer portal with a username/password and most I have setup as two factor as well. I let my password tool of choice generate a unique password for everything, therefore I have absolutely no idea what any of these passwords actually are.

A notebook would be a royal PITA. I utilize my passwords for these sites all the time. From home, on the go on my phone, while at work (physically when i am in the office). In addition, I have shared family passwords for things like streaming services, where my wife and kids want to know the password for something like Hulu, AppleTV, Netflix, Amazon Video, etc and I can easily share with them and then their device has access. In addition, the password manager allows their accounts to paste in the password into an app or website without ever telling the kids what the password even is.
