No, it does not say that you are not connected to the Internet. It simply says that the download is too large for the current connection. That makes me wonder if you have your Internet connection marked as a metered connection. Check that setting and if it is set as a metered connection, turn that off.

Thanks, hsehestedt for the reply.
It is not a metered connection. Previously when I received this message all I had to do was click on the update, and all was well. This is the first time I have encountered this problem of not getting any response when attempting to click as referenced in the previous sentence.

I am telling you that Windows thinks that this is a limited connection with a price associated with large downloads. You may not have it specifically set that way, but I am telling that Windows believes this to be the case. Google it. There are multiple causes for this.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you might try manually downloading that Windows update (KB5079473) manually (if it will let you) and installing it manually from your local HD. I'd be interested to know if it allows you to manually download it from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

Thanks all. I have a calculated monthly usage of 20-25GB/month. This based upon To date WIFI information from Settings for this machine.
I am attempting to get details from my ISP to see if there is an issue there. ... Still waiting ...

Odd that the error message specifically says the download will take place "when you connect to Wi-Fi". Do you have multiple network adapters? Is maybe one of them defined as metered? What connection options do you have? Can you connect by Ethernet?
