Got an update for Windows Web Experience Pack, now the widgets board won't load. Just getting a big grey box.
I uninstalled and re-installed WEP but it's not fixed it. I can confirm it was working after the latest update to 22621.1343, this problem has come from the Experience Pack update.

Update: Just checked Widgets on another PC, working were fine. Updated WEP through the Store and now Widgets are broken.

Yup your not the only one, as soon as we got that web experience pack the widgets window went blank.

This is the version of Windows Experience Feature Pack and NOT the Windows Web Experience pack, two different things.

Thank you all so much. I just download the latest version 423.5100.0.0 from the MS Store and this resolved my issue. Something was wrong with the version installed yesterday but this new build fixed it for me.

Update: I also wanted to add that in Task Manager I now see WidgetService.exe running. This process was not running when I was having trouble with the widgets not working. I would only see Widgets.exe and various mswebedgeview2.exe processes launching.

Do you have the link to that download... I've tried to uninstall and reinstall without success. I get the weather on the taskbar, but nothing for the widget screen... absolutely nothing.

It showed up as having an update available when I went into my Library in the Microsoft Store app. It was not listed at the top of the window as having an update available. However, when you scrolled down and found "Windows Web Experience Pack" the button to the right said "Update" instead of "Open".

I'm running Windows 11 22H2 in the Release Preview channel if that makes a difference.
