Solved Win 11 - Ethernet and Wifi disappeared

For the first run of WDV the tutorial has 3 customized tests.

I/O Verification
Force pending I/O requests
IRP logging

Please restart WDV with these customized tests and post one of these share links:

If there is no immediate BSOD > verifier /querysettings

If there is a BSOD > V2


After viewing the results, new customized tests will be provided for the next group of customized tests.

Please list each step that you made to:
1) Run WDV
2) Run the verifier /querysettings

In the thread the verifier /querysettings results indicated that WDV was not running.

Did the system crash on every run of WDV?

Ask questions as needed to run the tool and run the commands.

Repeat the steps in post #29 > report what you do to select customized tests and what you do to select drivers the how you run the tool, then how you run verifier /querysettings or how you turn off WDV.

I then select the drivers you listed and then restart.

Next step after restart is running V2 log.

Next I will open DVM and Delete existing setting like below:



Restart PC and then do the whole thing again for next set of tests.



2) Run the verifier /querysettings

I ran this after the final test as above. I did use Delete existing setting , restart and then ran verifier/querysetting.

PC didn't BSOD once during the last tests.

Has every run of WDV caused BSODs without exception?

For the images in post #32:

a) select the customized tests in post #29

b) post images with the customized box checked

c) post images of only non-Microsoft driver boxes checked

d) click finish to run the tool


With the customized test(s) and driver(s) the tool must run.
It will or will not trigger a BSOD.
If it does not trigger a BSOD the verifier /querysettings command will display the boxes that you checked.
The two verifier /querysettings results in posts #28 and #30 had empty boxes (none checked).
So make sure that you do not delete existing settings before running the verifier /querysettings.

no none has caused BSOD

Then why are you posting V2 links?



Redo post #25.

For each group report whether there was or was not a BSOD.

If there was no BSOD > post querysettings

If there was a BSOD then post V2.

Do not post both.

Make sure that querysettings is not empty.

Whenever possible post a txt report instead of an image.
