Conflict when using both ethernet and wifi

HTPC found and installed printer without wifi. So my printer is on a differant network then my ethernet.
So now I am connected to both networks, Windows uses ethernet for Internet access. Wifi for printing

That is what was happening to me on my dessktop. So, to use the printer I was using the slower wifi connection.
Now I don't have to.
The WiFi adapter isn't really disabled, though. Instead, it shows as being disconnected from the (WiFi) network with a red X on it in the Network Connections (ncpa.cpl) of the Copntrol Panel. By default, it automatically re-connects itself immediately the moment when you right click on the Ethernet adapter (that's in this same Network Connections window) and you choose Disable. If you do that, then the red X on the WiFi icon in there will go away as soon as it has re-connected itself to the (WiFi) network, and the Ethernet icon in there will be greyed out until you choose to re-enable it again. Choosing to disable a network adapter in this manner has the same effect as choosing to disable the network adapter device in Device Manager (or with pnputil /disable-device on the command line or with Disable-PnpDevice in Powershell so you can create your own shortcuts and/or scripts to automate these things if you want).
