WIN 11 explorer patcher show desktop icon is gone

I uninstalled and reinstalled explorer patcher. The show desktop icon on the far right is not there anymore. I can't get it back using Personalization / taskbar behaviors. Before I uninstalled it, I'm pretty certain I had this feature.

Actually, I preferred the Win 10 show desktop icon, it was bigger.

Any thoughts?

Yes. I think you must no use EP. Many users report problems.

Yes, it is missing in EP ver. ending in 3880. 66.6 but updating to 22621.4317.67 did not fix it, while it nuked all the Taskbar grouping per application ID, meaning all my LibreOffice docs have their own icon, versus a pop up to choose from, leaving me with 24 icons on my multilevel TB (which EP enables, thank God for Val).

Win 11 only enables TB grouping when TB is full (and nuked the multilevel TB), which is not efficient, and I have group when TB is full checked in EP along with Alway combine icons on secondary TB, but the only way I have found to group icons per application ID is via 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, if I am using EP as well.

Perhaps few persons have a lot of programs and documents open, and thus there is no option to group all icons according to application even when the TB is not full.

So I needed to revert to 3880. 66.6 which I did, and that fixed it. I tried Windhawk before I did, but the only option it offers re. this is to ungroup all.
