Hi, ornan_r, welcome to the ElevenForums 🙏

This is hard to evaluate as we know nothing about your problems.
For this and future reference:

Please complete the exact model of your laptop in the system specs.

Also:

Please type “Winver” into search on your PC and open it. Please type the version and build that it reports, into your “System Specs” OS section (first on the list where you have placed “Windows 11”)

Like this for example: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3296

This link will open your System Specs.

Thank you.

Could you also please refer us to the problems you’re having with your audio?

ornan_r, before a reset, you could consider:

You can run the SFC /scannow command from any console, including the command prompt, PowerShell, or Windows Terminal. Open one of these as Admin and type or past that command and press enter, then wait for it to finish.

Then, run the following command:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

—->

Open search on your PC, type CMD. Open CMD as admin. Type (or copy and paste) the following command”

Code:
SFC /scannow

Press enter
When finished, tell us, are there any issues present?

When completed, type (or copy and paste) the following command:

Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Press enter and be patient.

Hi,

I tried scan now and DISM tool which didn't show any errors(screenshot). The problem started after I updated my laptop with KB5035853 patch and after that audio stopped working. Initially after the update, most of the drivers had some issue but after updating drivers and multiple restarts they got resolved, however audio still wasnt fixed. The laptop speakers and microphone both stopped. I have tried updating the drivers, roll backed drivers but still no luck with audio. Bluetooth works but laptop own audio doesn't work.

Might be time to consider an In-Place Upgrade. It’s pretty painless. You need to use Option Two, Option One is now for Insider Previews only.

Thanks. The latest update seems to have fixed my problem -- now I'm waiting to find out what else they broke this time, at which point this may come in useful.

Sorry I didn't reply before. It was OK in safe mode, nothing else showed anything. Then the next update came along, and voila... problem solved.
