• Press Win + S, type Task Scheduler, and open it.
• In the right pane, click Create Basic Task.
• Name it Scheduled Shutdown, then click Next.
• Choose Daily (or your preferred frequency), click Next.
• Set the Start time (e.g. 10:30 PM), click Next.
• Select Start a program, click Next.
• In Program/script, enter:

  shutdown

• In Add arguments, enter:
  
  Code:

  /s /f /t 0

• Click Next, then Finish.
  
  
  • Arguments =
    • /s = shutdown
    • /f = force close apps
    • /t 0 = no delay

• You will need to change the time you want the computer to shutdown
  • where it says (in the second line) $Trigger = New-ScheduledTaskTrigger -Daily -At 10:30PM, change 10:30PM to the time you want the shutdown, change it before you paste it into Powershell..

• Copy and paste the following into the Powershell window after you change the time.
  • You will be warned that you’re entering a lot of lines, just click "Paste Anyway" and the Schedule will be created.

$Action = New-ScheduledTaskAction -Execute "shutdown.exe" -Argument "/s /f /t 0"
$Trigger = New-ScheduledTaskTrigger -Daily -At 10:30PM
