Windhawk Mods (Official Topic - Please Post All Here)


I'm using the Taskbar Clock Customization.
Is there any way to display the weather location? Even a tooltip will do me.

I see on the wttr.in help page, it says you need to use a + between spaces for cities with more than one word, but it doesn't seem to matter whether I use a space or a plus sign. Also, the wttr.in website and the taskbar clock doesn't display the same current weather information.

What does the + sign indicate beside the temperature? It never changes no matter whether the temperature is going up or down.

Also. I guess the little arrow beside the wind speed is the wind direction.

It means the temperature is +33, that is, positive.

Thanks for that. I don't normally see a + sign beside temperatures on my weather apps. I only usually see a - sign beside temperatures below zero.

I normally don't use the weather app of Windhawk, but I saw this is what the mod is telling about the weather part:
  • %weather% - Weather information, powered by wttr.in, using the location and format configured in settings
Those settings might be some settings in wttr.in or the settings of Windows itself, don't know.

I don't know how it displays for you, but Wttr.in doesn't always display the + sign for me. Especially on other days' forecasts.

It does not. :LOL:

As I said I don't use the weather app. To be more precisely: I only use the Dutch 'buienradar', where I can see if rain is coming, so I can dgo outside for shopping or walking in dry conditions. That's all weather forecast I use via the Internet.

But when I click that link it shows this:

Here and there the positive temperature is without + sign, but most of them are with + sign.
Must be the design of that weather site that's inconsistent.

I am using EarTrumpet for volume adjustment. Easy mixer and when hoovering, I can see the percentage.
EarTrumpet is the only app from the Windows sore I am using!
