Just "meaningless" support. Many ATMs still use XP in 2024. Unless something is broken, you should upgrade to 11.
End of life isn't until October of 2025. Not January
Same here except my Win10 is our main desktop. Office 2007 including Outlook,Quicken, Turbo Tax and a bunch of utilities for cloning/backup, anti-spyware, anti-malware, etc. for Won't be replacing it with Win11 until it dies and may even look for a used Win10 box. Not worried about end of support. IMO MS has a terrible record when it comes to releasing "updates". Still have a Win7 desktop running a weather radar app 24/7 non-stop for many years now. We do have a Win 11 laptop in my hamshack but I'm using that for some basic functions and later possibly for some ham radio apps. I also sync my Win10 data files to the laptop as an extra backup to those files.
Maybe, I certainly wouldn't put it past them. I truly wonder what the posts will be like next fall.

LOL my unsupported-by-Win11 Win10 computer with an 8c Xeon CPU and 128GB of memory runs just fine,I still have one computer running Windows 10. My others, including an unsupported hardware PC has been upgraded to Windows 11.
I quite like having one of my old unsupported computers still running Windows 10. But lately, I've been receiving prompts and reminders that support for Windows 10 is coming to an end and that I should plan to upgrade. I'm not sure why I am getting prompts to upgrade for an unsupported computer. Microsoft seem to be keen to get people on Windows 11.
Do any of you still have a computer running Windows 10? If so, what are you planning to do with it?

That's pretty typical when an OS goes out of support from the creator, third-party programmers also won't support the older versions when they can't get backup support if something doesn't work out well. Printers have the "planned obsolescence" for a similar reason, when no longer made or in the supply channels no money is coming in to pay people to keep them working.
